Detroit’s 91st Thanksgiving Parade

Detroit’s 91st Annual Thanksgiving Parade has become an annual tradition for Detroit and it’s surrounding cities community. This was our first Thanksgiving in Detroit and our first time to experience all that Art Van had to present. It’s one of the biggest Thanksgiving parades in America second only to New York’s. If you didn’t have a chance to line up along Woodward Avenue you were able to experience all that it had to offer via live television on local news station 4. Hundreds of floats, balloons, dance companies, and band performances created memories to last a lifetime. From Captain Underpants, Rainbow Fish, clowns, Wizard of Oz, live horses, and dance/band performances the parade had something that individuals of all ages could enjoy. Detroit’s tradition will now be a tradition for my family.
